Eleven hours ago, from the time I am writing this. The official X account of the small chat platform, Nerimity has posted a tweet claiming we planned and executed a raid in a voice channel of our Discord server. Claiming we raided their platform on 5-18-2024. This simply isn't true, StrafeChat as a company is not responsible for planning or raiding <a href="http://Nerimity.com" class="autolinkedURL autolinkedURL-url" target="_blank">Nerimity.com</a>. This "raid", I put quotes around it because it was one user spamming about 4 times, and one other account sending a few messages. Was indeed not connected to StrafeChat. It was executed by a member in our server named Jimmakes, and Discord username: "sleepingmantis". Jimmakes is not an affiliate of StrafeChat nor is he a member of the StrafeChat Organization, he is only included in the Alpha program. StrafeChat and the company behind us was not responsible for this individual, and does not approve or endorse the behavior by this individual.
In conclusion, StrafeChat is not responsible for this "attack" and does not condone this behavior. We wish Nerimity the best going forward and hope to continue a peaceful competitive relationship.
